Titan are currently working with a leading freight forwarder in the north of Glasgow to recruit a European Road Freight Operator
Role responsibilities include -
* Handling European Road Freight Exports – planning trailers, negotiating with hauliers
* Producing export documentation
* Dealing with customer bookings / queries
* Processing customs clearance where necessary
* Booking deliveries
* Producing and sending sales invoices
* Work closely with colleagues from other departments to ensure that customers' orders are shipped on time
* Correct input of data into the Transport Management System
* Pro-active communication with key accounts, customer service and sales departments to ensure timely resolution of any issues in transit
The company offers a great working environment - working hours are Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm with a competitive salary of between £18-24k per annum.
