Job Details

Our client is a global FMCG company, they are seeking an IT Procurement Manager to work within their IT and Telecoms Category. This household brand offers excellent career opportunities and the ability to work in a truly global organisation.

Key responsibilities

  • Run end-to-end sourcing for IT and Telecoms in line with 7 seven step sourcing.
  • Use their SRM programme to increase supplier performance and drive harmonization initiatives.
  • Produce cost savings via negotiations and realization of cost reduction projects.
  • Create and preserve competitive advantage for the organisation through the achievement of lowest possible total acquisition costs but also through enabling and exploiting supplier innovation of services and products.
  • Deliver forecasts as earlier as possible to minimise risk to the business and to create risk management strategies to minimise the impacts of a volatile supply markets.
  • Develop creative, innovative, Agile, and value focused sourcing strategies and identify new sources of supply
  • Improve Category Corporate social responsibility performance through increasing level of recyclable/recycled materials, exceeding category material avoidance target and identifying further CSR opportunities.

Candidate profile

  • Substantial experience working within IT/Telecoms Procurement
  • Experience in negotiating complex, high volume contracts preferably on the IT category
  • Demonstrate the capacity to evaluate issues analytically and commercially
  • Languages: Fluent English is essential, proficiency in other CCEP Languages (German, French, Spanish) are advantage
  • CIPS qualified
