We are pleased to offer you an exciting opportunity to join an award winning pensions administration fund business, leading a team of 20 staff across a high volume multi- site administration environment. You will be responsible for overseeing workflow & resource planning creating a high performing and development culture. This role will also require someone who can take a strategic approach to reviewing current business processes and systems, with a view to make any recommendations for development, looking at how the business can work more efficiently.

The role

  • Deliver on SLAs and ensure work is processed on time.
  • Address quality issues raised including driving audit action plans
  • Ensure team targets are achieved and delivered.
  • Assess & manage available resourcing levels to ensure there are sufficient resources to meet SLAs.
  • Support local management to allocate work to individual staff members looking at the most efficient means of delivering the target with the available skill sets.
  • Work with local management to maximise outputs & productivity by driving efficiency, strong performance management and staff development.
  • Help drive the commercial culture of the business including proactive performance management.
  • Constantly look at ways to deliver better service and drive business efficiency..
  • Help the business understand any industry trends and best practices.

The Person

  • Experience within a pensions/reward/operational, task & service orientated business essential
  • Strong people leadership skills essential
  • You will ideally hold GCSEs or equivalent including Maths and English at Grade C or above
  • Ideally hold a recognised pension administration qualification and / or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Possess a strategic, positive and creative approach to future ways of working
  • Must be able to spot efficient process improvements
  • Must be able to fully understand the strategic business plan, operating model, business SLAs and targets to drive a constantly improving service for members
  • Experience working with workflow and diary management tools
  • Able to create and produce data and MI in an easily understandable format
  • Experience managing resources across a processing team
