My client was established in 1958 and to date has manufactured well over half a million trailers. Based across North Wales, they have also newly opened a £5million development site in Sandycroft, Flintshire, making a total of four advanced manufacturing sites. Operating on a Global scale, they sell their trailers through their Distributor network based all over the UK, Europe and as far as Australia and New Zealand.
My client is looking for highly motivated graduates to join the Purchasing and Materials department and play an active role in supporting the continued growth across their Global operations. As a purchasing graduate here you will have the opportunity to work across a broad range of projects, accelerating your development as you gain experience undertaking a variety of tasks, critical to project development.
You will be given the responsibility right from the start of your employment as you take ownership of key project areas and work closely with the Company’s decision makers, gaining a unique insight into the KPI’s that drive a successful £100 million turnover business.
The ideal candidate will have good commercial awareness, is an effective communicator and will have the ability to analyse complex data through the use of spreadsheets, applying high attention to detail in order to produce in depth reports to support decision making. As part of this role, you will also be expected to commit to long haul, European and UK travel as assignments will require you to visit to a wide ranging supplier base to create excellent partnerships.
Successful applicants should ideally have a degree in Mathematics, Engineering or Business & Management and have achieved a minimum of a 2:1. Other disciplines may be considered for other areas.
All applicants must also be driven to further their development and seeking to obtain their company sponsored professional CIPS qualification.
