Job title: Import/Export Procurement Executive
Salary: £25- 40k DOE
Location: Harlow
My client is looking for an Import/Export Procurement Executive to join their team, this role reports into the Import/Export Manager so must have previous experience working in a similar role. A proven track record is essential. This role requires someone who has the ability to plan and prioritise their work along with being able to achieve set deadlines. You
Duties include:
- Process stock purchase orders
- Procurement of new products and components
- Design and produce projects and contracts
- Support the scheduling of the R &D team, Ability to source requests from the R & D Department
- Experience of JIT stock availability
- Participate in reports for: Inward quality control, New product evaluation reports, Warranty reports
- Participate in making company decisions as to next course of action
- Good understanding of stock, hazardous goods regulations and electrical waste WEEE processes
- Manage the flow of new products from import through to production
- Select and maintain relationships with inbound shipping agencies and suppliers to support the import/export processes
- Assess supplier’s performance on a regular basis
- Obtain the correct and accurate import/export compliance documentation
- Ensure reporting is completed on a timely basis for both suppliers/customers and HM Customs and Excise in conjunction with other internal departments
