Job Title: Deputy Contract Manager (Facilities)

Introduction:
Our client provides total facilities management solutions to a number of industry sectors within both the private and public sectors throughout the majority of the UK. Due to continued expansion they are now recruiting for a Deputy Contract Manager (Facilities) to join their team at their site in Rochdale. The successful Deputy Contract Manager will support the Contract Manager in the operational delivery of the contracted FM services across multiple sites and relationship management of eleven schools, including a leisure centre and theatre. Due to the nature of the role and contract, candidates must be flexible and willing to travel. Candidates will be required to undergo enhanced DBS clearance.

SALARY IS COMPETITIVE, COMPANY CAR OR CAR ALLOWANCE (£4620 PER ANNUM), 5% EMPLOYER MATCHED PENSION CONTRIBUTION, HEALTH CARE, DEATH IN SERVICE, INCENTIVE SCHEME, 25 DAYS HOLIDAY + BANK HOLIDAYS.

Deputy Contract Manager (Facilities) Responsibilities:
- Resolve with the site teams any failings of PPM, which require addressing.
- Carry out quality audit of all services delivered to site – implementing corrective action plan as required.
- Carry out Statutory Compliance Reviews as directed by the Contract Manager.
- Provide support and advice to on site operational teams, including management of PPM and reactive tasks.
- Consistently deliver demonstrable high-quality services to our Service Users.
- Assist Senior Managers with the co-ordination of Service Contracts for the site to ensure value for money along with regulatory, statutory and contractual obligations.
- Effectively manage the various service teams on site to ensure cost effective delivery of service and implement cost efficiencies where possible.
- Manage allocated operational budgets, offering cost efficiencies and increased profitability where possible.
- Manage reports from Helpdesk and report/act on their results.
- Regular liaison with site occupiers/Service User.
- Report any issue immediately that may affect the Service User/service of the site.
- Ensure set deadlines, reporting/financial etc. are achieved.
- Carry out regular performance reviews of site staff, implementing development/corrective plans as required.
- Ensure that all on site activities are correctly managed and controlled to ensure zero unplanned downtime to either Service User or business operations.
- Respond to changes in Service User requirements as agreed via the appropriate authorisation process.
- Establish ‘value for money’ strategies for delivering the management services.
- Ensure opportunities are identified for business development, both within and external to the existing contract.
- Carry out small works costing and management as required.
- Be familiar with the Service Provision Agreement/Service Contract for the site/s and understand the contract deliverables and payment mechanism, including penalties for poor performance and/or non-availability.

Deputy Contract Manager (Facilities) Requirements:
- Experience within a similar Contracts/Facilities Management role.
- Hold NEBOSH General Certificate.
- Level 4 FM qualification.
- Experience of working with high quality, results focused teams within a full service environment.
- Experience of managing multiple sites.
- Ability to manage and support people toward achieving goals.
- IT literate – Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Hold full driving licence.
