Commercial & Procurement Consultant for a global leading Management Consultancy based in Central London

You will join a Global Leading Management Consultancy/Advisory to join their Commercial & Procurement Advisory Practice based in Central London. You will join a global workforce of over 200,000 professionals with revenue of over $30bn. They specialise in Advisory, Consulting, Tax, Assurance and Legal.

Your new role
You will work in the Commercial & Procurement Advisory Practice whereby you will get the opportunity to work with some of the UKs recognisable companies across various aspects of Commercial and Procurement functions.

As expected with a role of this nature, your role will involve working on client site and travelling as and when required. You will focus on consulting and delivery of various strategy around Go-to-market, Procurement Strategy and Operational Procurement Excellence.

Day-to-day, you will be required to conduct performance reviews and manage projects from initiation to delivery. In addition, the core of your role will involve supporting clients on sourcing/delivery of complex procurement projects tailored to their requirements.

A role of this level will mean that you may be responsible for team management, so you should be comfortable with leading teams of 2/3 people.

What you'll need to succeed
You will need prior experience in either a consultancy capacity or within industry from the following sectors, Consumer Products, Retail, High Tech, Energy & Assets, Utilities, Telecommunications, Industrial Products, Automotive, Defence, Pharmaceutical / Life Sciences and/or Oil and Gas.

Experience with innovative technology and sourcing/implementation of new technology is required, this is an organisation who are looking to be one the most technologically advanced professional service firms in the world. Therefore, knowledge/experience around AI, Robotic Process Automation, IoT, Data Analytics and Machine Learning is highly desirable.

You will need to be able to demonstrate a proven track record of operational excellence and procurement efficiency and be process driven in order to deliver the best value for your clients.
