Role: Client Operations Manager

Salary: Up to £55,000

Are you currently seeking a Site Operations management role where you will be responsible for all people, processes and activities within your Business Unit?

Tailor Made Sourcing Ltd are recruiting into this exciting opportunity to succeed the current Operations Manager, who has been rewarded for their success with a larger position within the Group’s wider European operations.

These are certainly big shoes to fill but similar opportunities for progression are available to the person who can build on the excellent performance achieved so far.

As Client Operations Manager, your main responsibilities will be:-

* Lead, mentor and support the team in the day to day running of the warehouse, customer service, procurement & pharmacy functions

* Develop and implement processes of Continuous Improvement.

* Monitoring, measuring and reporting on operational issues.

* Ensure operations activities meet with and integrate with organisational requirements for delivery, quality management, health and safety, legal regulations & codes of practice, environmental policies and general duty of care.

* Plan work schedules and assign duties to maintain adequate staffing levels, to ensure that activities are performed effectively and to respond to fluctuating workloads.

* Ensure adherence to metrics and service levels and drive corrective action as required.

* Work with all functional areas to resolve any issues that may arise on behalf of clients.

* Support all aspects of HR.

* Provide coaching and development of the of all employees.

* Planning and implementation of Health & Safety system across the site.

* Manage both client and vendor relationships

* Develop, monitor and deliver operational budgets.

* Meet agreed budgets and KPI’s as agreed in a timely manner.

* Plan, monitor and approve expenditure.

* Continuously examine identify and implement cost saving initiatives.

The successful applicant will have the following qualifications/experience:-

* Ideally qualified to Degree level in a relevant subject

* Previous managerial experience within a comparable industry sector

* Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategy planning, resource allocation, human resource modelling, leadership techniques, operational performance, and coordination of people and resources

* Excellent Leadership and Interpersonal skills and the ability to work at all levels in an organisation, inside and outside of the operations function

* Very strong communication skills to deal on a regular basis with staff at all levels of the organisation and in all functions.

* Proven capability to implement operational improvements to enhance service and productivity

* Capability of building strong and collaborative internal and supplier relationships

* Demonstrated negotiation and conflict resolution skills.

* Previous experience in strong report writing and presenting data.

* Knowledge of pharmaceutical / medical device quality and regulatory requirements.
