Our client has a unique opportunity for a dynamic and creative-minded individual to fill a position of Supplier Manager within the Supplier Engagement department.

Within the Supplier Engagement department sits the Onboarding team, whose role is to engage and attract suppliers to work with their clients via their technology platform. The success of projects is very much dependent on creating an engaged supply base of suppliers who can deliver the goods or services that our clients require. The Onboarding team are an integral part of the project team for the implementation of our solution for each client.

Reporting directly to the Senior Supplier Manager, the successful candidate will play an instrumental role in forming and delivering our engagement plans and the wider project delivery.

The Role

• Responsible for onboarding suppliers as per the project brief
• Understanding the suppliers
• Recognising and designing new engagement methods
• Updating statistics and creating progress reports
• Analysing progress and success of engagement efforts
• Producing external and internal communications
• Providing key project resource to other internal departments

• A clear communicator with strong verbal and written communication skills
• A creative thinker
• Engaging and persuasive
• Strong analytical skills
• Ability to quickly build strong working relationships with senior level staff
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Self-motivated with high level of initiative
• Willingness to travel across UK when required (note that the role is based in Milton Keynes)

The Qualifications

• Degree educated, second class honours or above

The Salary

• We offer an excellent starting salary of £26,000 per annum
