Supply Chain Manager Direct to Pharmacy Agency Management

Location: Reading

Salary: 58,000-68,000 + Bonus

***Please note this is not a standard Supply Chain Manager role Direct to Pharmacy Agency Management is a Pre-requisite***


An outstanding opportunity at one of the worlds largest pharmaceutical companies, you will be responsible for the day to day management of the contracted services including performance analysis & review, partner engagement, issue & resolution management to ensure that the current contracts in place are being adhered to.

Role Summary
Lead monthly operational committee to review and compare current Service Levels against actual performance, collating and analysing KPIs and underlying data,
Develop strategies for continuous improvement and supply chain efficiency including long term goal of reducing cost to serve through contract renegotiation
Monitoring service levels to ensure adherence to contract and best customer experience
Manage resources raise purchase requisitions, update systems in a timely manner and cooperate to ensure support function resolves issues/implements enhancements
Lead a cross functional team from Trade, Finance, IT, Communications, Sales and Marketing to ensure service optimisation and continuous improvement initiatives and commercial endeavours
Take care of RFP activities and act as focal point for agencies

Essential Experience required:
Proven Knowledge and experience of dealing with Direct To Pharmacy Customers and Wholesalers, either from within a Pharmaceutical company or Pharmaceutical Wholesaler
Proven agency management skills
Ability to understand customer needs and develop short, medium and long term strategies
