This well established restaurant, located on the outskirts of Colchester are seeking a Restaurant Operations Manager to join their expanding team. The restaurant is very much the focal point of the community, hosting a full calendar of events and functions throughout the year and has a particularly strong Sunday lunch trade. This restaurant is set in the beautiful Essex countryside and is conveniently situated between Colchester, Ipswich and Sudbury. This establishment has a 80 cover restaurant and outside seating in the summer.

The restaurant serves outstanding seasonal food with great service whilst retaining a relaxed restaurant atmosphere. The style is contemporary British cuisine with everything made in-house from scratch. The kitchen makes the most of the best fresh local produce available with particular attention to food provenance, this kitchen is always busy.

They are looking for an experienced Restaurant Operations Manager to join their growing business, as they are opening new venues in the next 12 months and are in need of someone to oversee the multiple sites. The ideal Restaurant Operations Manager will come from a strong catering background, with experience in high volume, high quality restaurants, hotels or gastro pubs. They are looking for a hands on Restaurant Operations Manager who is confident running multiple sites, maintaining the growth and development of each venue, and reporting directly to the owners.

The successful Restaurant Operations Manager must have a solid CV, and experience in Food and Beverage is essential. The right candidate must be well rounded, with an in depth knowledge of back office, stock and financial acumen. It will also be preferable for the successful Restaurant Operations Manager to be passionate about good food, with an all-round knowledge of the workings of a commercial kitchen. As Restaurant Operations Manager you will be responsible for organizing the smooth running and growth of the sites, and you will be a charismatic leader with a real passion for the hospitality industry. You will possess the strength of character to lead, and be part of a dedicated team with the ability to deliver excellence in all areas of the dining experience.

A car driver is essential, due to the need to travel between sites.

Candidates must be flexible with their availability, and a hands on approach to management is essential.
