Sewell Wallis is seeking for an experienced Procurement Officer for their innovative and progressive client based in Sheffield. The successful candidate will report to the Category Buyer and responsible for supporting the procurement division.
Benefits:
£20k to £23k + 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays)
Responsibilities/duties
*Assist the Category Buyer
*Tender the stationery contracts each year and other admin items such as uniforms
*Successfully run credit checks on suppliers
*Keeping track of the Audit trail
*Provide admin support for tendering exercises managed by the Procurement team
*Place PO's and ensure the PO requests are compliant with the company policies
* Assisting with new suppliers and setting up the system- making sure that the company details are requested and distributed appropriately
*Assist with other tasks according to the business needs
Ideal Candidate:
*A-level (or above), working towards CIPS or willing to undertake study
*Willingness to learn
*Independent working
*Attention to detail
*Strong Organisation skills
* Ability to prioritise projects successfully
*Great verbal and written communication skills
*Keen to progress
