We are working alongside a fantastic Logistics company based in Alton who are looking for an administrator to provide administrative support for the removal of furniture contents from commercial and domestic property.

Key Responsibilities

  • Undertaking all administrative duties relating to the Removals and Storage processes, including identifying the scope of work, raising quotes, booking in /ammending/ rescheduling jobs, allocating storage, invociing, updating MoveMan and the Online Claims Managemtn System (OCMS), etc

  • Co-ordinate and liaise with the Claims Team, Restoration Technicians, Removals Team, Storage Companies, Clients (insurers) and Customers (policyholders) regarding all aspects of Removals and Storgae, ensuring that any changes are communicated to all parties in a timely manner.
  • Working with the Claims Team to deal with any queires regarding removalsy.
  • Identify and handle removals complaints and escalate to Transport Manager as necessary
  • Ensure processing deadlines are met as required
  • Provide general support to the Claims Team as required - this includes answering telephone calls, allocating new Claims and updating the OCMS
  • Provide administrative support to the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) as required
  • Other duties as delegated from time to time by your line manager or any other person designated in their absence.
  • Knowledge or experience of removals (although we will consider applications from candidates who have experience of working in a customer facing/office environment)
  • Strong numeracy skills
  • Highly organised, good level of attention to detail and can prioritise a busy workload
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Team player - willing to share knowledge with others
  • IT Literate
  • Passionate about service delivery excellence.

The Person Requirements

  • Knowledge or experience of removals (although we will consider applications from candidates who have experience of working in a customer facing/office environment)
