JOB DESCRIPTION: Operations Manager / General Manager - Instrumentation / Engineering Equipment : Automotive

Come and help our successful and profitable company grow and develop. Strategically guide our commercial and operational growth - taking responsibilities as a key member of the senior management team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Operations Manager / General Manager - Instrumentation / Engineering Equipment : Automotive

· Day to day running of the operation (circa 10 employees across sales, technical and administration)
· Crafting and implementing the strategic direction of the business
· Full profit and loss responsibility across operations, sales and marketing
· Identify, explore and establish relationships with prospective suppliers, business partners and customers to grow the business.

In this role you will receive a rolling handover from the existing General Manager, reducing their hours once you are up to speed.

PERSON SPECIFICATION: Operations Manager / General Manager - Instrumentation / Engineering Equipment : Automotive

· You will be a senior manager / Operations Manager / General Manager or Managing Director of an organisation selling technical products / engineering equipment or services to industry.
· You will have an understanding and previous responsibility for profit & loss and budgets of a company, division or department.
· Desire and drive to take the helm of a well-run, successful and profitable company and take it forward over the next 10 years+
