A world leader in the design and manufacture of electronic systems for the chemical industry is seeking a Divisional Logistic Manager, to join then their Headquarters & Global Technology Centre in Burgess Hill site. The company are a major global leading engineering company who are part of a business worth over £10 billion. They develop complex, high value, high speed machinery which is used in the manufacture of semiconductors.

The Divisional Logistic Manager job, Burgess Hill will be work with other divisions, customer centres and product companies to manage, lead and continuously optimise the global supply chain model for the Business Division to achieve maximum customer satisfactions at minimum environmental cost and impact. Some of your responsibilities will be identifying, developing and monitoring key logistics KPIs including customer service levels, inventory, backlog, freight cost and environmental impact. You will also be responsible for managing and optimising the inventory across the entire network to ensure annual inventory targets are met and provide direction on inventory management and approach.

The Divisional Logistic Manager, Burgess Hill will be a leader with extensive experience in various operations, strong motivator towards people and good process development skills. Logistics experience is also a must, with knowledge in global logistics operations also a must. You will have extensive industrial knowledge of freight and shipment with the ability to understand various supply chain models. Ideally you would have a degree in Engineering, Economics, Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
