Supply Chain Supervisor / Materials Control

Working with a supplier to automotive, this position is based in Warwick and is focused around material handling - for the storage and distribution of all materials and some assemblies within a manufacturing environment. You will play a key role in helping the business control materials in accordance with the company process. 

Key responsibilities:

• To comply with H&S regulations
• Ensure the safety and security at all times of all designated stores areas
• To maintain accuracy of materials in stores at all times in accordance with stock control systems
• To ensure that incoming materials are received and stored in a safe manner and that they conform to the company's requirements in respect of both quantity and quality
• To work closely with internal customers such as Production to ensure that effective stocks of materials are available on the shop floor to achieve all planned activities
• Ensure that all non-conforming items are identified and that waste materials are properly identified and stored according to their needs
• Maintain computerise stock control systems
• To coordinate and control stock taking as and when required

You will be used to working within a highly-regulated environment and adhering to tight supply chain procedures. In addition, you will come from a manufacturing environment.
