Logistics Officer, Supply Chain Officer

An exciting newly created role working for this fast-growing organisation on the outskirts of Cambridge. This high-profile and visible role will be responsible for all logistics within the organisation managing material workflows, working with suppliers, delivery companies and internal stakeholders to ensure efficient use of stocks. The role will be responsible for managing incoming, outgoing and stored materials ensuring that items are received, distributed and stored to meet business needs.

You will have a self-motivated and pro-active approach to your work with high levels of attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent communication skills are essential due to the level of internal support required and the ability to build relationships with logistics companies and different types of deliveries. Previous experience working in either a Logistics, Stock Control or Quality Control capacity is essential with exposure to an engineering, medical device, pharmaceutical or technical company required. There is scope to shape the role to suit candidate experience and aspirations with exceptional long-term career development prospects available.
