Contracts and Procurement Advisor Part Time

Salary: circa £30,000 per annum (FTE) pro rata in line with hours

Part Time: Hours Negotiable

Based at Albert Road Depot, Bristol, BS2 0XS

THE ROLE

The post holder will need to provide procurement support and advice to internal and external stakeholders in accordance with BWC and statutory regulations. Duties will include identifying, organising, facilitating and conducting the letting of contracts for a wide range of supply, service and works procurement arrangements for the Company.

In exchange, we offer: a salary of £30,000 per annum (pro rata in line with hours), 25 days holiday entitlement (pro rata for part time hours); access to a defined contribution pension scheme; employee assistance programme; life assurance of two times salary.

Requirements: It is essential to have a minimum of 3 years procurement experience, in a similar role, knowledge of contract law and EU public procurement regulations. As well as experience running public sector procurements, in accordance with the PCR 2015.

To be successful, you must have 2 A levels or equivalent, excellent and effective writing and verbal communication skills, the ability to analyse complex information and present logically. As well as being an organised and self-motivated person.

On the technical side, the post holder will need to be numerate, computer literate, have excellent attention to detail, with practical experience of Microsoft Office products, in particular Excel and Word.
