The Role
Within the role of Senior Procurement Engineer, you'll be responsible for:
Managing strategic suppliers and strategic relationships.
Identifying and managing risks associated with key and major subcontracts.
Developing and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders and key suppliers.In addition, you'll also manage and control all subcontract documentation, data, files and reports in a timely and accurate manner.
You
To succeed within the role of Senior Procurement Engineer, you'll have experience in a similar position, and you'll ideally have the following skills:
Extensive background working as a Senior Procurement Manager developing a strategic supply base and managing supplier performance through the lifecycle.
Experience working on complex development engineering programmes in an Aerospace Engineering organisation.
An advanced knowledge of procurement and contract management principles.In addition, an understanding of key contractual principles will be an advantage.
