Head of UK Procurement

We are currently recruiting for a Head of Global Sourcing and Procurement UK position for our client based in the City of London.

Our client is a top tier European corporate and investment bank with a sizeable presence in London.

The incumbent is in charge of the Global Sourcing and Procurement (GSP) team in UK and managing a small team of procurement analyst and administrators for UK purchases.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing a team of analyst and administrators from RFP, negotiation, invoicing and dispute.
• Build and maintain a set of performance indicators related to procurement activities including but not limited to supplier performance, spend analysis, cost saving initiatives…
• Work directly and specifically on high profile purchases as and when required by UK management
• Negotiate with the assistance of the legal department, the commercial and legal clauses with 3rd party suppliers in adherence with the bank policy
• Represent the procurement function at all relevant steering or project committees.
