Supply Chain Assistant - 6 months Contract - £14.38 ph PAYE - Leading Defence Organisation - Preston**
Our client is leading Defence organisation based in Preston who are looking for an Interim Supply Chain Support / Coordinator to join their team on a 6 months contract.

Key Responsibilities:
The candidate is required to work on the U.S F35 Programme, the role will involves using our latest ERP system, placing demands onto Buyers, expediting updates to both the spares & repairs order books, problem solving skills. Interaction with the U.S Customer & also internal stakeholders such as Procurement, Engineering, Finance, Project Management & Commercial. Attendance at meetings to discuss the Customer Order book and provide updates in a timely manner. Receipting of goods and resolving Goods receipting queries to ensure items are closed down on the order book. Updates to the customers priority demands also required to be expedited.
Ideal experience required for this role:
Previous Supply Chain, Purchasing assistant experience
Ideally has worked within a Defence/ Manufacturing and/or Engineering industry sector
Ability to manipulate and analyse data
Must have exceptional organisational skills
Ability to react quickly to business changes
Good communication skills
Strong Microsoft Office package experience
