Due to an increase in workload a great opportunity has arisen for a Supply Chain Coordinator.
Duties as follows:
Attendance at sites to assist with procurement - sending tender information, receiving and analysing quotes, compilation of order documents and negotiations with subcontractors
The primary contact within the company for potential new Contractors and Consultants who are looking to work with.
Managing the introduction, verification and approvals of new Contractors and Consultants, to ensure they are suitable to be added to the Supply Chain Database.
Developing relationships with 'Tier 1 and 2' Contractors and Consultants.
Continually review the status of the Supply Chain against key indicators, and managing approvals by other departments within the company, such as Commercial, Safety and Insurances ensure the correct information is held on the database for use by the Operations Teams.
Collating and communicating Contractor appraisal feedback with the site teams input.
Producing relevant reports to allow KPIs to be measured against to review engagement of the Supply Chain.
Representing the company at Meet the Contractor, Meet the Buyer and Collaborative Working events throughout the North West.
Assisting projects in establishing and maintaining the correct procurement processes.
Liaising closely with the Estimating Department to identify and engage relevant 'Tier 1 and 2 Contractors' early in the tender process of each project. Our client will pay and reward with a market leading salary and a great working environment
