Supply Chain Planning Manager

Role Profile
Our client is a successful FMCG business in the Oldham area. They are looking to appoint a Planning Manager to join their existing Supply Chain team.
There is a real opportunity to make this role your own, as it is an exciting, customer facing position where you will have end to end planning responsibility for a number of sites.
Key responsibilities
Manage a team of Production Planners
Oversee the creation of production plans and material schedules for the site and optimise inventory planning process
Chair monthly S&OP meetings with commercial teams
Chair regular operational meetings with site leaders
Meet regularly with key customers and manage new product launches, promotions and demand patterns
Skills & Experience
The successful candidate will demonstrate:
Significant planning experience in an FMCG environment
Proven hands-on experience in material planning, production scheduling and inventory
Track record of delivering improvements and efficiencies
Proven experience managing planning teams, including coaching and developing planners to drive high performance
Good working knowledge of MRP / ERP systems and Excel
Remuneration
£45,000 - £55,000
