THE ROLE
I am seeking a B2B Category Manager responsible for the success of a range of products throughout the sales organisation. The role will encompass all aspects of business and product lifecycle, managing a team of 4 direct reports.
* Accountable for the success of our Audio Visual product ranges
* Define strategic business plans to meet the market requirements and sales needs
* Purchase and sales forecasting, inventory management responsibility (PSI)
* Execute business objectives and drive sales growth across EMEA
* Review technology trends and suppliers to ensure a timely and informed product development roadmap
* Align, coordinate and drive all internal & external stakeholders to achieve results
* Manage a team of dedicated product managers and planners
* Performance reviews and executive reporting
THE APPLICANT
* Commercial management experience within the Audio Visual industry
* Expert understanding of professional vertical markets
* Proven history of business development and sales success
* Assertive, engaging, communicative and confident personality
* Team player who is driven, adaptable and dynamic
* Excellent negotiating skills and diplomatic flair
* Practices in working across broad territories and European cultures
* Fluent in English with additional European languages desirable
* Educated to bachelor degree level or higher
