International Supply Chain Manager
Based in Lutterworth
The International Supply Chain team, based in Lutterworth, play an integral role in sales order delivery for all International customer orders. This team is looking for a Supply Chain Manager who will be responsible for leading the customer service and logistics function for the International Business Unit. This covers both the day-to-day sales order processing and supporting logistics activities, as well creating Supply Chain solutions for new business opportunities. This role must champion consistent excellence in customer service for all customers with the optimal route to market model.
Key duties and responsibilities…..
· To lead the day-to-day sales order processing and Logistics activities for the International Business Unit
· Create and execute the Customer Service strategy for International Customers in collaboration with the broader Operations team and Business Account Managers
· Build and develop strong, collaborative relationships with key Customers
· Review Customer Service performance with the Customers and create improvement plans
· Review Customer Supply Chain scorecards and work with Customers and internal stakeholders to create improvement plans
· Ensure correct export regulatory documentation is present for all markets & orders
· Liaise with planning, logistics & warehousing, stock availability teams, technical & credit control to ensure customer OTIF targets are met
· Issue resolution and escalation, route cause analysis and effective communication of service issues to internal stakeholders and customers
· Imbed a Continuous Improvement culture throughout the Lutterworth team and supporting functions
· Manage the current Supply Chain solutions, optimise their cost efficiency / service delivery and create new solutions in line with the business requirements
· Ensure the most efficient and effective ‘route to market’ processes are introduced for all new productsand services in line with the International Strategy.
· Manage the Logistics budget
· Manage efficient processing of supply chain invoicing within required timelines & budget
· 3PL / 4PL management of International Logistics providers including tender processes for new providers / solutions
· Represent the supply chain on EPD / NPD / new Customer / new territory projects and delivery appropriate Supply Chain solutions
Experience and qualifications needed……
· Must be customer focussed and strive to give excellent customer service
· In depth knowledge of holistic customer service performance metrics
· Ability to lead, develop and motivate teams in a fast paced environment
· Motivated by continuous improvement
· Delivery focused / completer-finisher mindset
· Strong numeracy skills with the ability to understand trends and patterns within numbers
· Well-developed computer system skills (MS office & Excel) & sales order processing systems
· Must have strong attention to detail, be able to work under pressure and to strict deadlines
· Excellent organisational, communication and prioritisation skills
· Excellent team player and able to build and improve matrix relationships
· Must demonstrate an enthusiastic, proactive and passionate manner
· Good critical thinking, able to make sound judgements
· Budget management and tracking of spend
· Proven track record of creating International Supply Chain solutions
· Management of 3PL / 4PL relationships
