An excellent opportunity for a dynamic supply chain professional to join a busy organisation as a Supply Planner. The role will be responsible for providing analysis and managing all planning activities to optimise production.

Key Responsibilities of the Supply Planner;

Engage with account and delivery teams to plan ahead for expected demand.

Providing input to tender management process and compiling Weekly and Monthly Planning and KPI Reports.

Conduct continuous improvements and planning projects.

Engage with sales teams to improve the quality of forecasting.

Act as the central point for Planning and Order Management.

Provide Planning & Delivery options to all operational meetings.

Direct and manage the factory workload priorities.

Communicate regularly with customer-facing teams to recommend plans to avoid delays and stock-outs for customer deliveries.

Manage and maintain high quality data regarding production scheduling.

Submit and update Weekly and Monthly Reports and KPI Reports as requested.

Carry out analysis of performance and provide clear management information to support decision making and recommended improvements.

Propose and execute projects to measurably improve performance.

Personal Specification of the Supply Planner;

Degree qualified or equivalent.

Materials & Supply Chain Planning experience.

Experience within a Manufacturing environment is essential.

Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing processes.

Good working knowledge of MRP / ERP systems.

Advanced Excel skills.

Strong communication skills.

Ability to operate well in a fast-paced environment.

Self-motivated and enthusiastic.
