Experienced Transport Manager required for an Italian furniture company based in Belvedere, Kent.
Salary £30,000 per annum.
Flexible hours between (6am-21.30pm/22.00pm) Longer hours at the beginning of the week (with the possibility of Thursday and Friday having some time off, in compensation of long hours worked at the beginning of the week).
Duties to include:
* Planning.
* Dealing and managing the supplier (carrier/fitters etc.etc.)
* Dealing with clients.
* Helping and giving advice and suggestion to the operative side in the office.
* Helping and giving advice suggestion to the operative side in the warehouse. (forklift driving licence is an advantage).
* Attention to the cost and optimization of the resources + basic account knowledge.(sage)
* Transport operative licence
* Knowledge of insurance obligations for goods in stock and transit.
* Knowledge of custom clearance import/export operations for brexit purposes.
* General duties.
* Weekly written report and constant contact with director.
Italian language an advantage.
