Clinical Category Manager - South-West London

Leading Procurement & Supply Chain Outsource Provider

£45k - £50k + Bonus + package

My client was established with the intention of delivering exceptional value and efficiencies for their clients and ultimately give excellent care to their patients. They are proud to have achieved excellent results so far and manage a spend of over £500m in annual spend.

As such they are now actively seeking a Clinical Category Manger to join their growing team to manage the Procurement and Supply Chain for the top NHS Foundations in London and their subsidiaries.

Key responsibilities:

• Maximise value of all non-pay expenditure from the supply chain by leading on the clinical procurement category across 3 NHS Trust hospitals
• Take full accountability of assigned strategic clinical projects in line with the company's plan
• Line-manage and mentor a buyer and share purchasing responsibility within the clinical category
• Source suppliers, negotiating robust SLAs and award contracts
• Manage senior internal and external stakeholders

Responsibilities:

• Experience in sourcing clinical equipment such as radiology, machinery and surgical equipment
• Experience of people management, coaching and supporting staff
• Confidence when managing stakeholders
• OJEU
• Working towards CIPS
• Degree Educated 2.1 and above
• Knowledge of procurement platforms such as Ariba, SAP and Oracle
