Procurement Specialist- Construction/MRO

Our client is a Major Global Service Organisation who are seeking a Procurement specialist to join the team within MRO and Construction.

The Role:

Implement the sourcing strategy and category management, and strategic sourcing activities within the MRO/Construction areas of the business.

Working closely with relevant stakeholders will develop and drive category sourcing strategies and ensure maximum value from all spend while driving service and innovation

Select and develop suppliers, managing selection and tender process

Contribute and support the strategic sourcing strategy

Take the lead for continuous improvement in the category including supplier management, operational and tactical purchasing process change and building future capabilities.

Work closely with stakeholders managing and influencing the procurement spend area

Person Specification:

Graduate or equivalent

Ideally CIPS qualified or studying

Strong strategic sourcing capabilities

You will have gained experience of Purchasing, within Construction OR MRO

Ability to drive procurement processes
