<p><strong>Commercial Contracts Manager</strong></p> <p>Applications for this role close on: 19th September 2019</p> <p>Interview date: 8th October in Blackpool &amp; 9th October in London</p> <p>NS&amp;I is one of the largest savings organisations in the UK with 25 million customers and £147 billion invested. Our origins can be traced back over 150 years to 1861.</p> <p><strong>Short summary</strong></p> <p>We are looking for someone who is able to build the strong working relationships needed to ensure effective management and performance of our commercial Business to Business (B2B) contracts. You will be working with internal stakeholders, other government departments and key B2B partners and will need to consider all of their needs, along with best practice, with the aim of securing value for money for the Government as a whole.</p> <p><strong>Job Description</strong></p> <p>You will contribute to the development of the commercial approach on relevant B2B contracts across NS&amp;I and Atos. Assist in the negotiations of commercial agreements and the development and agreement of the commercial B2B contracts in order to safeguard NS&amp;I’s commercial position, achieved by optimising value and minimising risk.</p> <p>Manage the ongoing commercial relationships with key B2B business partners to ensure that contract performance is achieved through formal contract management processes</p> <p>This role is subject to Baseline Personnel Security Standard and financial credit checks.</p> <p><strong>Responsibilities and skills/knowledge/experience required</strong></p> <p>To take the contractual lead on the relevant key B2B contract negotiations between NS&amp;I and third parties</p> <p>To develop the relevant contractual documentation to underpin these key B2B contracts which safeguard NS&amp;I’s commercial position and minimises risk</p> <p>To manage and maintain the B2B contracts on an ongoing basis in line with contract management best practice – ensuring that performance is monitored and managed and any issues identified and resolved in accordance with contract governance procedures/protocols</p> <p>To ensure that all relevant B2B contracts have policies, procedures and guidance to enable best practice commercial and procurement activities to be applied and practised.
