Procurement Manager - Professional Services
What you`ll get up to as a Procurement Manager
To give you an idea what to expect, you`ll be:
- Using your commercial intuition to proactively identify savings opportunities and unlock the maximum possible benefit, including `value-add` supplier offerings
- Negotiating complex commercial agreements
- Building relationships and rapport internally and externally
- Devising and implementing a category management strategy in conjunction with stakeholders
- Managing and mitigating supply chain risk
- Promoting good procurement practice across the business
What we look for in you
- An ambitious and driven self-starter, with sound legal knowledge and significant commercial experience
- Strong IT procurement skills with a history of successfully tendering and negotiating system procurements and consolidation projects
- A clear track record of stakeholder management, ideally interfacing with both technical and project management teams
- Effective negotiation skills and demonstrable commercial acumen
- Previous line management experience, or a desire to develop into people management
- Most of all, you`ll be someone who can respect, encourage and connect with the people you work with
