We are delighted to bring to market an opportunity for a Governance & Business Operations Manager to join one of the UK's leading Financial Services Organisations.

The successful candidate will utilise a background of working in and around Risk, Legal and/or Compliance business areas to help standardise and roll out more rigorous controls and governance processes across different teams and divisions within this segment of the organisation.

Success in the role will involve a significant amount of relationship building and communications work; and someone who can demonstrate being a custodian of process and system usage will be the key. The role also involves financial planning, being involved in monthly management and steering meetings, being involved in the prioritisation of projects, and working closely with 3rd party suppliers to tie them into this journey.

Criteria

  • Must be able to demonstrate working across Legal, Compliance and Risk business areas
  • A PMO type background or demonstrable experience is being a custodian of governance / working standards, wherein the role holder had an involvement in shaping and/or managing governance and risk on a day-to-day basis
  • Demonstrable experience of liaising with 3rd parties
  • Custodian of process, system usage and governance with experience of helping with financial planning
  • Able to demonstrate relationship management / building bridges across business areas, and comms work
