Strategic Sourcing Specialist (Indirects)

A world-renowned international entertainment company with exciting growth plans within its Procurement function is recruiting a Strategic Sourcing Specialist (Indirects) to work across FM, IT, Marketing and Professional Services spend. The business employs some of the brightest people in the entertainment industry with the Procurement team delivering excellence across the enterprise.

As Strategic Sourcing Specialist (Indirects) your key responsibilities will be:

• Sourcing, negotiating and contracting, with direction from the Senior Sourcing Manager, for goods and services to deliver quality and value
• Contribute to the development of strategic objectives and work towards implementing them
• Conduct market reviews of various categories of spend
• Gather, analyse and present data on various categories of spend
• Conduct bid analysis with some recommendations/conclusions
• Provide complete, accurate and structured documentation for all projects
• Liaise with the Legal Counsel on any contractual matters
• Engage suppliers to get quotations, analysing offers and negotiating to close the deal
• Cross-functional project management when carrying outsourcing activities

Skills and experience required:

• Able to manage own workload to deliver to deadlines and knowing when to seek support when needing to balance conflicting operationally urgent and important tasks
• Able to manage end to end procurement processes and projects – proficiency in developing RFPs and conducting bid analysis
• Experience at extracting appropriate MI from systems to aid decision making
• Experience of working effectively with internal and external stakeholders; ability to work with diverse groups of stakeholders
• Ability to analyse and resolve complex issues
• Project management experience and a team-building work style for a fast-paced and changing environment
• Strong supplier management/performance measurement monitoring experience
• Practices a high degree of professional integrity and ethical responsibility in all business activities
• Having sound knowledge and application of contract law
• Four years of Procurement experience across multiple categories
• Educated to degree level or equivalent desirable
• CIPS
