This renowned FTSE 100 firm is driven to provide their customers with a competitive edge by producing the highest quality product. With operations in over 35 countries this is a firm with a truly global reach. Due to unrelenting expansion this multinational corporation are looking to expand their procurement function and as such are in search of a Procurement Leader to work within the development of their upcoming project.

Procurement Leader role profile: -

• Management of you own contracts in accordance with the established Supply Chain and Procurement processes and procedures.
• Leading Supplier Management focusing on negotiation of contracts / Conducting CSRs / Performance Improvements / Supplier Development Activities.
• Accountability for all Supply Chain and Procurement activity within your area of responsibility.
• Consistently maintaining the levels of reporting required across your team within Cost Management / Spend Management / Supplier Performance / Schedule Delivery Performance within data and hardware.

Required background: -

• A history of excellence when negotiating with senior stakeholders and subcontractors.
• An outstanding knowledge of SAP.
• Significant management and leadership skills.
• Good people management skills in order to align supply chain and procurement with other functions.
• A proven history of Cost Forecasting and knowledge of the value of equipment being procured as well as the required actions if performance is not meeting the identified standard.
