As part of a global commercial transformation, this blue-chip FMCG major seeks a Procurement Category Lead to manage its £300M 4PL and control tower spend across Europe. The focus of the role will be to establish a centralised inbound-outbound hub to monitor all products in real-time. Global Procurement Category Lead, 4PL responsibilities will include:-
- Lead the procurement of 4PL services, vendors and suppliers globally for the movement of all outbound goods
- Establish a logistics control tower for real time management of inbound & outbound logistics
- Partnering with global stakeholders to determine the strategy for the sourcing of a pan-European logistics control tower solution for real time management of inbound & outbound logistics
- Creating and managing long-standing, harmonious stakeholder relationships - seeking to understand business challenges/requirements to shape category strategies
- Conducting deep analysis into category & supplier performance - identifying innovative trends before partnering with the organisation to implement new methods of working
Senior Sourcing Manager, Logistics requirements:-
- In-depth knowledge of the sourcing and procurement of the logistics category, specifically within 4PL and Control Towers
- Strong communication skills with an ability to engage and influence stakeholders to understand requirements and drive new ideas
- Ambition to develop within a blue-chip, World-class organisation, eager to assume responsibility and progress in a global team
- A high learning agility that will allow you to progress rapidly into new positions in the organization
- Proven multi-cultural experience and ability to work in a regional/global scope
