This Fortune 500 Retail Firm is seeking a Senior Maintenance and Reliability Manager to manage all maintenance and reliability teams across multiple distribution centres within the Cherry Hill vicinity. The firm with over 500 stores across the continent, is an industry leading retail company that has boasted continued growth across the business.
You will report into the General Manager and have a close working relationship with multiple senior stakeholders within the organization including the Director of Operations and VP of Supply Chain. You will also manage up to 18 direct reports and over 100 direct reports across your three distribution centers and be responsible for ensuring the training and development of these reports, as well as increasing the profitability and growth of your centers.
The Role
You will be managing three distribution centers based in the Cherry Hill, NJ area and will be working for a growing retail organization with a multitude of progression opportunities. You will report to the General Manager and oversee up to 18 Direct reports and over 100 indirect reports across your distribution centers.
As the Senior Maintenance and Reliability Manager, you will:
- Head up the maintenance and reliability functions across three distribution centers in the Cherry Hill, NJ area
- Manage a team of up to 18 direct reports and over 100 indirect repots to ensure that all equipment across your distribution centers are properly maintained and primed to increase the growth and profitability of the company
- Work with your team and other stakeholders in the business to improve multiple KPIs including MTTR, MTBF, unplanned technical downtime as well as the creation of maintenance workflow processes
- Working with and maintaining top tier equipment including conveyors, PLC/Enterprise systems, scales, material handling and scanning
- Manage and create preventative maintenance programs to ensure equipment downtime is kept to a minimum
Key Skills
- Key experience in maintenance/reliability management in a leadership role, preferably within a distribution center setting
- Dematic system experience is a must
- Experienced in working to OHSA standards within a warehouse or distribution center setting
- Experience working within a retail distribution setting is desired but not a requirement
