Procurement Manager - Operations - FM, CAPEX & MRO - Leading Not-For-Profit - £50,000 + CIPS sponsorship + Central London +- Procurement Transformational Projects
Leading not-for-profit seeks a high-achieving CAPEX & MRO Procurement expert to drive efficiencies on critical spend areas in a key role for an award-winning team. Entering the organisation as they go through a cutting-edge transformation, the successful individual will be tasked with unifying a stakeholder base to define and implement long-term sourcing strategies - identifying opportunities for cost savings, risk mitigation and improved supplier relationships. Procurement Manager, CAPEX & MRO Responsibilities:
- Engaging cross-functionally with various business units to develop strategic category plans for the development of CAPEX & MRO categories
- Strategically source new suppliers, managing the full end-to-end tender process to maximise savings and create value within the function
- Managing one Category Specialist and assisting with their development within the procurement team
- Liaising with senior stakeholders to ensure the consistent expansion of the procurement function
- Creating and implementing innovative ideas for the long and short-term development of the function
Procurement Manager, FM, CAPEX & MRO Requirements:
- Involvement in managing strategic sourcing projects across FM, CAPEX & MRO categories with a proven track record of generating savings and creating value in a function
- Experience strategically sourcing new suppliers and managing the full end-to-end tender process
- Strong experience drafting and managing contracts with existing and new suppliers
- CIPS and Degree qualified (desirable) achieving a 2.1 or equivalent
