Head of Strategic Procurement

Head of Strategic Procurement - Health and Medical - Oxford

£50,000 to £55,000 + 15% bonus

Due to incredible recent growth in demand for their procurement expertise, our client is looking to welcome a Strategic Procurement Consultant to consult with key public Health & Medical clients on all-things procurement. Working on their non-core spend, you will: devise the strategy with key senior stakeholders; manage the end-to-end procurement process including the tender processes, vet suppliers, negotiate contracts and manage relationships on behalf of their esteemed client base.

Non-core spend procurement projects will include Facilities & Estates; HR; Travel; Energy; FOREX and more.

About you:

Our client seeks a collaborative and professional consultant. Their recent growth stems from their holistic approach to procurement and desire to achieve long-term value rather than smaller short-term goals. The successful Procurement consultant will have:

• Successful background in procurement, especially working in or with Healthcare / Medical sector clients
• Managed end-to-end procurement projects
• You will have dealt with stakeholders of all level and possess the confidence when influencing and managing said stakeholders
• Track record of delivering impressive individual savings against budgets set
• Delivered projects in a timely fashion
• Degree educated 2:1 (or equivalent) CIPS advantageous
