Our Client are looking for a freight Case Maker to join their company on a full time basis.
Monday to Friday 08:00 - 17:00
The role will include a variety of tasks;
- To support the manager to design and build wooden cases and crates.
- Build cases by measuring, cutting timber, using saws and hand tools.
- Working on the saw with nail guns and other wood tools.
- Moving products, cases, crates or on pallets into place using forklift truck ahead of loading for shipment.
- To work both inside and outside and sometimes at our client’s premises when packing large or fragile cargo into cases and/or containers.
- Preparing and affixing address labels and stencils.
- Identify products for packing and shipping by verifying customer delivery information.
Previous experience is essential in export packaging, wood working manufacturing, manufacturing quality. Manufacturing methods and procedures using safety management.
