A London University requires a Procurement Manager to join its successful procurement team and support on a range of project areas.
Duties include:
- Establish strong working relationships with internal stakeholders and academics across multiple category areas
- Develop an in-depth market knowledge of suppliers to meet business needs
- Introduce a robust procurement strategy and produce sourcing plans
- Manage full tendering processes in line with UK legislation & EU regulations
- Ensure that contracted services and obligations are met and manage supplier performance in relation to agreed SLAs
Essential:
- Member of CIPS or qualified by experience
- Track record running category procurement projects
- Working knowledge of Public sector procurement rules
