A London University requires a Procurement Manager to join its successful procurement team and support on a range of project areas.

Duties include:

  • Establish strong working relationships with internal stakeholders and academics across multiple category areas
  • Develop an in-depth market knowledge of suppliers to meet business needs
  • Introduce a robust procurement strategy and produce sourcing plans
  • Manage full tendering processes in line with UK legislation & EU regulations
  • Ensure that contracted services and obligations are met and manage supplier performance in relation to agreed SLAs

Essential:

  • Member of CIPS or qualified by experience
  • Track record running category procurement projects
  • Working knowledge of Public sector procurement rules
