Your role as Logistics Coordinator is to control of all UK and European transport movements in a cost efficient and effective manner.

You will joining a Global market leader who are specialists within the chemical industry, offering a range of products and value added services.
You will be working within the Transport Team based in Warrington who all work together as a team who are fun, friendly and hardworking.
Description
Your role as Logistics Coordinator will be to work within the Transport Team and your duties will include:
- Overall responsibility for the planning of all transport for bulk/packed stock and direct customer movements.
- Cost consideration when agreeing haulage partner for all product movements.
- To ensure that customer service excellence is achieved through efficient control of haulage movements.
- Measuring suppliers and ensuring that you develop relationships and corrective actions where applicable to situations that arise.
- Overall responsibility for investigating, charging, agreeing haulage related site, supplier and customer demurrage.
- Customer order confirmations through system receipting.
- Cover for stock control function when needed

Profile
To be sucessfull with your application for Logistics Coordinator you will be a key team player and able to work using your own initiative with direct experience in a similar logistics and transport planning role, including the management
of incoming and outgoing transport movements, you should be able to demonstrate:
- Confident telephone manner and an aptitude for dealing with a range of competing demands
- The ability to organise, plan and prioritise a busy workload, whilst delivering a first-class
service to both internal and external customers in a fast-paced office environment - A good degree of IT/PC literacy, ideally including a practical working knowledge of transport management system
- Strong communication, negotiation and relationship building skill
