Shipping Coordinator
Basingstoke
£18,000 - £21,000
An exciting opportunity has arisen within a worldwide manufacturer and distributor of cuddly toys within their shipping team - this role is a crucial position to both the internal sales team and also at the forefront of their customer experience! They are looking for forward thinking people that will drive their organisation into the future - does this sound like you?
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure that printed orders are correctly sorted and prioritised for the picking team.
* Check for any rework requirements to ensure that stock is prepared correctly for dispatch to customers.
* Ensure that completed orders are dispatched immediately via the appropriate courier and that customer specific requirements are met i.e. bookings, dispatch paperwork…
* Monitor the general company email inbox and ensure that all queries are actioned within 24 hours escalating any issues to the relevant person where appropriate.
* Answer telephone calls and pass onto relevant department.
* Ensure customers are sent invoices the day that goods are dispatched.
* Support the Warehouse Admin team and maintain a tidy working area.

* Attention to detail
* Excellent time keeping and flexibility
* Pro-active and enthusiastic, team player
* Ability to communicate in English both verbally and in writing
Person Spec:
* Minimum high school education
* Previous warehouse admin or customer service experience essential
* Good telephone manner
