Sales Administrator - Import/Export Trades - 1 year FTC

An international trading company based in the City of London seeks a highly capable sales administrator with a background in import/export operations to join them on a 1 year FTC.

The role involves supporting sales and marketing, arranging shipments, coordinating logistics, processing shipping documents and processing accounts data.

Salary: £28,000 to £32,000 per annum dependant on experience. Discretionary performance related bonus. Medical insurance and company pension. Overtime payable.

  • Location: City of London, near Liverpool Street
  • Job Type: Full time, fixed term contract for one year
  • Hours of Work: 9am - 5pm

Core Duties

  • Coordinating the importing, exporting and storage of goods
  • Administration of all end to end documents including sales notes, purchase orders, packing lists and invoices
  • Data entry into SAP
  • Ensuring accurate stock control
  • Monitoring credit control and ensuring customer payments are received on time
  • Monitoring credit limits and ensuring that limits are not exceeded.
  • Monitoring FOREX booking balance
  • Support with new business development for new products
  • Ad hoc administration duties as required

  • Accurate and proven numerical skills
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Good time and task management, ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Ability to work in a cross cultural environment
