A new and exciting opportunity has arisen within a fast growing, fun and vibrant company with modern open plan offices based in Hemel Hempstead.

You will be joining a dynamic and rapidly expanding company and the role will develop as they grow and you will have the opportunity to progress your career.

This is an excellent opportunity to start in a role which you can make your own. You will be working with the Logistics and Supply Chain Manager to assist with looking at all stock movements from their warehouse, from their suppliers in the far east to their distribution centre. Ensuring that everything is running smoothly and looking after any stock discrepancies.

You will be given full training on all aspects of the role and will have the opportunity to make the role your own, make improvements and develop as the company grows and diversifies.

This role will suit candidates with a proven track record within logistics and supply chain that are looking for a progressive opportunity. Candidates at entry level looking to start their career will also be considered.

Key responsibilities:

  • Delivery planning - making sure all orders that require bookings are arranged and seen through to the final delivery stage
  • Delivery paperwork - Checking to make sure that all paperwork is correct from picking lists through to delivery paperwork
  • Delivery discrepancies - following up on all delivery issues and queries
  • Booking confirmations - email acceptance and work planning with the management team
  • Invoicing - oversee all booked deliveries to the invoiced status
  • Ensuring all partners in the supply chain are working effectively and efficiently to ensure smooth operation
  • Communicating effectively with all departments, customs and customers and responding to their requirements
  • Ensuring the successful fulfilment of all orders
  • General admin support

What the employer is looking for:

  • 2-3 years logistics experience but candidates at entry level who want to start their career within supply chain will be considered
  • A passionate and motivated candidate who is keen to learn
  • Positive "can do" attitude
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills
