Successful FMCG manufacturer needs Warehouse Manager near Gosport, circa £40k plus benefits
Your new company
A well established and highly successful leader in their specialist field. This organisation is at the forefront of their sector, constantly developing new products to suit the changing needs of their customers, including a number of household names.
Your new role
In this position you will lead and further develop the Warehouse team (approx 45 staff), and lead the interface with 3PL partners. You will assess and improve processes to drive productivity improvements, coaching your staff through any changes and up-skilling them as necessary, ensure Health & Safety processes are followed, manage costs in line with budget, and report on performance of the Warehouse function as part of the site leadership team.
What you'll need to succeed
Your CV will demonstrate experience and achievements in a similar fast moving Warehouse / Distribution environment including details of measurable improvements to KPIs where relevant. Ideally you will have supported a manufacturing site, ensuring materials and components progress from goods in to Production areas to meet demand, and finished goods are despatched on time and in full. You will ensure stock integrity at the site, minimise damages, and optimise use of the WMS. Ideally you will have exposure to Lean techniques and hold a formal H&S qualification (IOSH / NEBOSH).
