Senior Category Manager opportunity on a permanent basis. Based in Leeds

An exciting opportunity to join a central Government organisation based in Leeds.

Your new role
As a senior category manager you will be joining some of the best individuals within the commercial team to deliver excellence across the category. You will be working on some large and complex spends within the department with hug scale projects and programmes to deliver. You will lead the end to end procurement process using OJEU tenders, be responsible for the delivery of supplier relationships and contract management, lead negotiations and manage and identify risks.

What you'll need to succeed
Good communications skills and somebody that can build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels, you will need previous experience of leading an end to end procurement process and understand the public sector frameworks. CIPS qualification is preferred and knowledge of working within a project based environment.
