THE JOB
We have a vacancy for an experienced Road Freight Manager. The successful candidate will run the Road Freight department and will line manage two Road Freight Coordinators and one Senior Road Freight Coordinator.
THE PERSON
We are looking for an experienced leader who can bring and share their extensive knowledge of road freight management and hit the ground running. The role of Road Freight Manager will suit a person with:
- significant experience of European road freight management;
- line management experience;
- the ability to motivate their direct reports;
- a willingness to think outside the box;
- the ability to adapt to changing circumstances;
- proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office applications and;
- exemplary customer service skills.
The ability to speak Spanish fluently is a distinct advantage, but is not essential for this role. The post holder must be hard working, enthusiastic and capable of maintaining positive working relationships. Working hours are 8:30am to 5:30pm Monday to Friday with an hour for lunch.
