Supply Chain Assistant - Elland- £20,000 - £24,000

Chase & Holland have an excellent opportunity to join a brilliant and innovative business based in West Yorkshire. They are currently looking for an enthusiastic Supply Chain Assistant to enhance their Supply Chain element, ideal for an individual looking to progress and develop their career within the industry.

The Supply Chain Assistant will report into the Supply Chain Manager whilst covering all duties within the Supply Chain desk.

Duties will include;

• Dealing with stock ordering and fulfilment to cover varying demands of the business
• Managing the purchasing delivery schedule and order chasing
• Identifying production and supply difficulties and dealing with any problems as required
• Working closely with internal teams - quality, finance, support
• Assisting with sourcing of new and replacement products
• Understanding and actioning planning requirements

Our client is looking for a Supply Chain Assistant who:

• Has minimum 2 years’ experience within a Supply Chain element
• Has experience of cost negotiation, planning, supplier relationship
• Has a good level of education
• Good knowledge of IT systems

In return the successful Supply Chain Assistant will receive:
