Page Personnel are currently recruiting for a Temporary Procurement Administrator to join a manufacturing business based in the Huddersfield area.
Client Details
The client is a leading business in the manufacturing and production industry and are looking for a temporary procurement administrator to join the team to help with a high workload. This is a long term opportunity with route for progression into the business.
Description
The Temporary Procurement Administrator will be responsible for -
- Ordering samples and office supplies from suppliers
- Monitoring inventory stock - observing whether items have arrived and what needs to be ordered.
- Processing and confirming orders
- Reconciling invoices
- Responsible for Purchase Orders
- Updating records and follow ups with vendors to check that the order is being processed
- Negotiating with suppliers on materials and order costs
- Compiling cost reports for invoices
- Updating and sending daily reports
- Resolving order issues including shipment issues which are incorrect or late
- Building strng relationships with customers and suppliers
Profile
The Temporary Procurement Administrator will have/be -
- Background as a Procurement Administrator
- Keen eye for details
- Forward thinking and ability to spot issues and problems
- Excellent communication and organisation skills
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Packages
