Experis IT are currently recruiting for Data Operations Manager to join one of our well-established specialist media clients based in Wolverhampton. As the Data Operations Manager you will be responsible for leading and mentoring the data Production team, ensuring the efficient and accurate delivery of data and data services.

The Data Production Team sit at the heart of data operations for the group of businesses, maintaining large marketing databases, profiling, modelling, reporting, executing data operations for marketing campaigns and performing counts and data extracts.

The role requires a good technical knowledge of data in a marketing context and how data is used within marketing. As well as excellent communication and team management skills.

Skills and Experience

• A leader with technical understanding of data and marketing.
• 5 years' experience managing a team with a background in marketing and data, able to demonstrate understanding of marketing practices and principles.
• Talented and ambitious individual who has the experience and vision to help shape data strategy on a group basis. The successful candidate will need to be analytical, naturally inquisitive and enjoys problem solving with excellent team leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrate strong marketing analyst experience especially understanding of data and database manipulation in a consumer marketing environment.
• Understanding of data usage across multiple marketing channels, e.g. direct mail, email marketing.
• Ability to maintain and improve detailed operational processes and workflows.
• Understanding of marketing modelling and profiling methodologies.
